History of Geology
Grading Scale

A combination of percentage and letter grades are utilized for evaluation of student performance in this course. Reports are graded using letters (A to F) with +/- subdivisions. Final course grades are reported as letters (A-F) with +/- designations, according to university policy. Incomplete (I) grades will be considered only in rare cases, such as serious illness, major accident or military service. An I must be completed within one semester, or it will automatically be converted to an F. The last day to withdraw from class is the end of the 10th week of the semester.

This course follows the university's academic dishonesty policy. This means specifically that all work must be written substantially in the student's own words. Quotations must be indicated clearly. Complete references must be provided for any materials taken from other publications, such as books, journals, webpages, videos, maps, etc.
