Remote sensing of the Earth's surface utilizing the electromagnetic spectrum. Techniques of photography, multispectral scanning, and microwave imagery from airplane, satellite, and manned-spacecraft platforms. Image interpretation, practical applications in earth science, and use of remotely sensed data in geographic information systems.
