Introduction

Webpages have become a routine means for presenting student projects in earth science courses at Emporia State University. This is true particularly for distance-learning courses as well as several on-campus courses. The flexibility of the Web allows students to deliver text, graphic images, and hypermedia links to other web sites. Webpages have effectively replaced the traditional "term paper" in most online earth science courses. Beginning in 1996, many students have created webpage reports for various projects in earth science courses. So many, in fact, that it's no longer possible to maintain all past student webpages online. As a general rule, student webpages since 2001 are listed below.
