This Webpage project was created for a course on Map Librarianship, for the School of Library and Information Management, at Emporia State University in the 2007 spring semester. The assignment was to learn Webpage creation, as well as present a summary of our knowledge regarding fundamentals and tools to aide the library professional in assessing clients’ needs and providing access to resources to meet those needs.

Map librarianship focuses on providing access to maps and other spatial data to library clients. This Webpage has been designed to provide resources to a Kansas junior high school, which serves students in grades 7-9. Specifically, the information provided here will augment print resources used by seventh grade students in their study of the “Five Themes of Geography”.
