RESEARCH AND CREATIVITY DAY
Thursday, 26 April 2012

Following the success of last year, the annual research and creativity forum for the graduate students and faculty and the annual undergraduate research and creativity day are again being combined into a single event on Thursday, April 26, 2012. This one day is set aside for the showcasing of the wide range of research and creative activities at Emporia State University.

The Research and Creativity Day is being sponsored by the Research and Grants Center, the Undergraduate Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities Committee, and the University Honors Program. The morning will be set aside for oral presentations by graduate students (Visser Hall 243) and undergraduate students (Visser Hall 330), though these rooms may change if progress on the Memorial Union permits. The poster sessions will be combined into a single event in Webb Hall in the afternoon. This year there will not be poster awards, however, if you are a student and would like some constructive feedback on your poster, there are some faculty who have graciously agreed to provide such feedback.

Submission are now closed with over 80 presentation. You will be notified by e-mail within three days of submission that your abstract has been received. If you are not notified, please contact Dwight Moore at dmoore@emporia.edu. Please be sure that all information is spelled correctly as this information will not be retyped. Submissions are due by Monday, April 9, 2012.

The abstracts will appear in the printed program. This is an excellent opportunity for faculty and students to share with the campus community their research, scholarly, or creative work.
