  • Dec. 6. The final exam is now available. Please download it from Couse Documents in blackboard. Good luck with finals!
  • Dec. 5. You've almost made it! Lecture 12 is now online. Please look for details regarding the final exam in recent email correspondence sent to the class. The exam will be posted in Blackboard on Wed, Dec 6.
  • Nov. 27: Hi. Hope you had a nice break. This week's material is now available on the blackboard site. Please note the dates associated with the final exam are listed on the course schedule (Due Dec. 13).
  • Nov. 20: Happy Thanksgiving. This week's lecture on the vadose zone is shorter than some of the others since on-campus sections meet only 1 day this week. Information regarding your term papers is now available on Blackboard. Be sure to take a look at it.
  • Nov 7: Hi from Lincoln, Nebraska. This week's guest lecture is now available for viewing in blackboard. As you view it, consider the different perspectives on contaminated ground water provided by this semester's speakers (a regulator and an environmental consultant). Also, be sure to view the short announcement regarding this week's homework assignment

  • Oct 17: Happy Fall break! Since this is a short week at ESU, this week's lecture is shorter than the others. Please log onto blackboard and view the lecture and homework assignment.
  • Oct 16: Hello. I'm happy to announce that last's weeks guest lecture is now available for viewing via video streaming. This means that you will not need to download the video file to watch the lecture, but can instead view it in blackboard. The lecture lasts about 50 minutes. Please login to blackboard and review this lecture. note: You may need to download microsoft media player if you do not have a recent version on your computer
  • Oct 2: This week's lecture is now online. The format for next week's class will be slightly differernt than usual as we will have a guest lecture by a local professional hydrogeologist. On-campus students are expected to attend the lecture. If all goes as planned, a video version of the lecture will be made available on blackboard for distance learners. Additonal instructions will follow shortly.
  • Sept 25: Greetings!. Your first exam is now available for downloading. Please assemble your answers in an MS Word document and return the to your blackboard folder. Good Luck!
  • Sept 18: Hello all. This week's lecture is intended as a review of some of the materials covered last semester, but should not be taken lightly as understanding the material is important for completing the next few weeks of material. Your first exam will be available next Monday
