My favorite
services:
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
My Favorite
movie theatre would have to be the Dickinson theatre in Merriam, Kansas
because of the
large arcade and restaurants. There usually is no waiting for
tickets
and the seating
is excellent. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||
My
favorite video rental store would have to be video
library in Lenexa.
The store
personel wear
uniforms resembling tuxes and are always curteous. They also have
the largest
anime collection in Kansas City, a fact that has kept me coming
back. |

1. Andre's
Confissurie Suisse - This is a
Swiss Consulate, chocolate factory, and
restaurant, all
in one. Yum yum.
2.
The Canyon
Cafe - This is a
southwestern restaurant in a gourmet atmostphere.
The chef is
amazing and it doesn't cost as much as you might think. Amazing service
comes with
wooden wagon wheels and pottery.
3.
The
Cheesecake Factory - Enough said.
I love the Chinese Chicken Salad they
serve. I
adore their cheesecake. The only problem is the price is not for the
timid
heart.
The cool thing is that at Walt Disney World you can get their food
for cheaper
than at
home |

1. My
favorite, of course, would be....Walt
Disney World! Let's
talk culture and service! Hey it may not have the fear factory rides, but all hail to the greatest park in the
world.
2. I
can't say enough about the St. Louis
Six Flags new ride, The
Boss! It is possibly the best wooden roller coaster I have ever ridden. The wait isn't usually long and
most waits are worth it.
3. I must
say that Bush Gardens,
Tampa Bay has a great
Egyptian roller coaster, as well as others.
4. I
always love going to a Sea
World Park,
particular the one in Orlando. The shows and the roller coaster
hidden in the
Atlantis ride are wonderful. The food in the park is far better than
any other. Check out the fried pineapple and conch
fritters. |

1. Natural
Wonders- Let's
face it, I love the unusual. The items in this store appeal to my
love of nature and science.
The objects sold are not the boring run and the mill mall brand
items.
2. The
Museum Company - I have never
met a disgruntled or bitter employee at this store. The concept of
offering objects
for the home that look as if they may have come from another era at
a decent price is wonderful. My favorite item is
toy miniture train run that I've purchased for myself and
others.
3.
Border's
Bookstore - What college
student has never been inside this megalith of bookmania? I can stay
forever and
still never look at everything.
4. Hot
topic- Although I
tend to dress more conservatively than most I know, I still love looking
in this store dedicated to alternative
fashion. They usually always can entice me into a new T-shirt.
The clerks here are more friendly than they look
behind all the earrings and green hair. The atmosphere is so
relaxed, my parents have no problem looking inside.

1.Wal*Mart- I
worked at Wal*Mart for three years. It was great to get to know
about retailing and all aspects of customer
service. There is always a lot of catching up to do with everyone
when I come in to shop.
2.
Walt
Disney World - I worked at
the Magic Kingdom for the college program. I loved the work
experience and may even go
back to work there after college.
3.
General
Electric
(Transportation division)- I am currently a contract employee at GE
working in the GE office at the BNSF
railyard in Kansas City. The best part is walking through the
parking lot as trains crawl by. |
